• Choose your favourite Christmas themed yarn (red, green or gold) – the brighter the better and get your knitting needles ready.
• You can use any type or thickness of yarn. For double knitting (DK) yarn and 4mm needles, cast on four stitches and then knit forty rows – or around 25cm - before casting off.
• Make your scarf stand out by adding your own personal touch – with glitter, tassels, patterns etc.
• Once your scarf is ready pop it in the post addressed to: Origins Ginger Knits, 73 Grosvenor Street, London , W1K 3BQ . (Please post your scarves as soon as they are ready and no later than 20 November 2008).

Six lucky Origins Ginger Essence™ Sensuous skin scents will be modelling scarves knitted by fashion designers Julien MacDonald, Paul Costello, Jenny Packham, Marigay McKee, Louise Kennedy and Alice Temperley this Christmas to raise money for the housing and homelessness charity Shelter.

Exclusively on show at Harrods from Monday 17th November to Sunday 14th December, customers will have the opportunity to take part in a silent auction and bid for their favourite one-off designer scarf along with the Origins Ginger Essence™ modelling the mini version.

How do you bid?
It couldn't be easier, pop in the subject box your chosen designer's name and in the main body of the email your bid, then send to originsgingerknits@origins.co.uk by Sunday 14th December and the highest bidder will win one of the exclusive six scarves.
