COMBAT SPOTS

Spots – we all get them and there’s no telling when a breakout will arise but there are things that can be done to help.

Madeleine shares her top tips on how to help combat spots, from what she eats and the products she likes to use to zap zits on the spot.

Banish Breakouts

Help stop breakouts before they start with these simple tweaks to your daily skincare regimen.

Step 1: Cleanse

Wash your face with a cleanser laced with Salicylic Acid to help keep breakouts at bay. Try Zero Oil Deep Pore Cleanser to keep pores clean and clear, use this cleanser day and night to work it’s pore-clearing magic.

Step 2: Tone

When excess oil seeps into your pores, pimple-creating bacteria may quickly follow. Remove excess oil and shine with Zero Oil Pore Purifying Toner. Apply morning before applying make up and evenings after cleansing for a smooth, matte finish without that tight, dry feeling.

Step 3: Moisturise

Just because spot prone skin tends to be oily, doesn’t mean that skin is hydrated, which is crucial for healthy looking skin. Use for an oil-free moisturiser that gives just the right amount of hydration but won’t clog pores. Use Zero Oil Oil-free Moisture Lotion with Saw Palmetto and Mint for a refreshing hit of hydration.

Step 4: Treat

With Madeleine's Favourite Super Spot Remover. Keep in your handbag and it will come to your rescue to help speed healing and visibly relieve redness.

Step 5: Mask

Pore purifying masks are a great extra boost to really deep clean & detox. Ingredients like super-absorbent Zinc Oxide and Sulfur plus calming Camphor found in Out of Trouble® mask soak up oily-shine, slough off dead cells and sweep away debris. Use weekly to help banish breakouts.
